Necklaces on string or ribbon with resin and gold-plated elements

• String or ribbon will fray over time – this is a natural consequence of use. Heavy wear, moisture, or friction against clothing accelerate this wear.
• Avoid soaking – contact with water, sweat and cosmetics weakens the structure of the string and may stretch or discolour it.
• The resin is hard but brittle – an impact or fall may cause it to crack.
• Gilding is a thin layer – it naturally wears off over time, especially in areas exposed to friction.
• Bracelets can get caught on clothing or other objects – pulling too hard can cause them to break.
• Mechanical damage, such as abrasions or tears caused by wear, does not constitute grounds for complaint.

Storage

• Store separately in a dry place, preferably in a soft bag or box.
• Moisture and light weaken the string and can affect the color of the resin and the durability of the gilding.

Cleaning

• Clean resin and gold-plated elements with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use detergents, rough materials or sharp tools.
• Leave the string alone – do not wash, do not soak, do not rub vigorously.
