Necklaces on string or ribbon with resin and gold-plated elements

  • String or ribbon will wear out over time – this is a natural effect of use. Intensive wear, moisture, or friction against clothing accelerate wear.
  • Avoid wetting – contact with water, sweat, and cosmetics weakens the string's structure and can cause it to stretch or discolour.
  • Resin is hard but brittle – impact or a fall can cause cracking.
  • Gold plating is a thin layer – it naturally wears off over time, especially in areas exposed to friction.
  • Bracelets can snag on clothing or objects – a strong tug can cause them to break.
  • Mechanical damage, such as abrasions or breakages occurring during wear, is not a basis for complaint.

Storage

  • Store separately in a dry place, preferably in a soft pouch or box.
  • Moisture and light weaken the string and can affect the colour of the resin and the durability of the gold plating.

Cleaning

  • Clean resin and gold-plated elements with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use detergents, abrasive materials, or sharp tools.
  • Leave the string alone – do not wash, soak, or rub intensely.

Product characteristics

Bracelets on string or ribbon with resin and gold-plated elements require particular care. The string wears out over time, resin cracks upon impact, and gold plating wears off during use. These are natural processes that conscious use can only slow down, but not eliminate.
